“I like this base layer very much. I opted for a more generous XL for a little more space for me! It was a good choice as it’s generously sized and doesn’t make me feel confined. The 200g knit has enough stretch to be comfortable without feeling flimsy, the zip is long enough to vent adequately, though if I was being critical another 30mm would be better. I liked the longer than usual sleeves and the thumb loops for those colder days, nice touch, thank you, obviously designed by someone who knows what is needed in the great outdoors! An interesting thing I have found is that when I’m working hard and generating heat the chacteristic sheepy/merino smell I have experienced with two versions of a certain other popular brand of base layer doesn’t seem to be present, equally after prolonged periods between washing I have yet to notice any kind of unpleasant pong.
This is a first class product, produced by a super friendly and helpful UK company. I can’t speak highly enough, I will be back for more!”
“Bought size Small for my husbund. The fit in the body is perfect. The sleeves could do with being 6 inches longer if you want to get any use out of the thumb holes. Decided to keep it, although the thumb holes are 3 inches above wrist. Maybe EDZ should consider a few different sleeve lengths. There must be some tall and slim British men!”
“Im an all year round motorcyclist and ride in all types of British weather. I’ve learnt over the years that it’s not worth buying gear that’s not up to the job and that your far better off buying quality clothing that will last and does what it’s supposed to do.
The EDZ Merino Zip neck top won’t disappoint you.
They are comfortable to wear, wash really well and keep you nice and warm in very cold weather. They can be worn all year round as a single base layer in spring and summer and then just add a micro fleece as a second layer under your motorcycle jacket when the temperature drops and your good to go.
These tops are very well made and the nice people at EDZ post them out promptly and package them well.
I’m that impressed that I’ve bought another one for me and a third for my good lady wife along with two pairs of Merino long johns and a couple of neck tubes.
