“Merino wool vests. I switched to Merino wool vests last Autumn. Some of my merino vests (not EDZ) are in strong colours (red and blue) and don't layer well with a light-coloured dress shirt. However, the EDZ vests are a nice pale cream, which goes with anything. In my young days, I went on many expeditions to the arctic and Greenland but I am now restricted to ambles in my native Peak District. Merino wool vests work well for a Peak District winter! I wash them with Woolite.”
