“It’s the first time I’ve used one of these MK screened aerial sockets. Two things to bear in mind. Firstly it’s a male socket whereas many are female. Secondly it’s easier to connect if the coaxial cable is routed into the back box from the top downwards. I managed ok with the cable coming in from the bottom using a 35mm back box, so I had enough space to curve the cable round without kinking it.”
