“PRE-BOOKED PARKING AT EDINBURGH AIRPORT WHICH WAS PAID FOR UPFRONT. INSTRUCTIONS SENT THE BARRIER WOULD LIFT ON ARRIVAL TO THE CAR PARK ONE IT READS YOUR REGISTRATION PLATE. THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN AND WE HAD TO PRESS THE BUTTON FOR A TICKET AND ON THE WAY OUT WE WERE ASKED TO PAY £180 FOR OUR STAY!! EVENTUALLY MANAGED TO GET SOMEONE THROUGH THE HELP BUTTON WHO LIFTED THE BARRIER TO LET US OUT.”
“On paper, mid stay looks a good alternative but considering you end up parked next to the fence between mid and long stay, it’s a bit of a waste of money.
Made even better that I was tailgated by an Airport Employee on a scooter benefiting from free parking.
Cost is a disgrace but what choice do we have apart from going to the otherwise of the fence and saving a few pounds.”
