“Accessing the car park was ok at which point I took the ticket as requested. Once inside finding a space was relatively straight forward. On leaving I followed the instructions on my confirmation email and drove to the barrier and inserted the ticket however at this point the machine said I owed £120 despite having already pre paid. This resulted in me having to speak to a representative who asked for my car reg no and then raised the barrier.”

It sounds as though our automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system hasn't registered you upon entry. When this occurs, it means our system doesn't match you to your booking and you are then charged the roll-up rate in error upon exit. This doesn't happen often but when it does, I understand the frustration that it causes however, I'm glad you managed to get it sorted at the time.
