I hope that you'll be pleased to hear that we currently have a Long Stay walking route project underway which means that the blue badge spaces will be re-located closest to the perimeter fence meaning they will be located closer to the terminal building. We hope that this work will be completed in the New Year.

“Twice in the last month, i have had miserable journeys back to Edinburgh with flight delays, cancellations, awful storms, missing luggage etc. Then i get to the barrier to leave the car park and it flashes up with a parking charge (a result of the delays etc). I immediately think here we go again, but in fact both times the intercom responder has been absolutely wonderful, a cheerful voice after a rotten day, no problem all sorted, thank you. What a difference.”
“Very convenient for the terminal, only a short walk. The Only criticism we would have is the lack of signage to the Terminal re the correct area to exit the car park, can be difficult to find if you are parked at the end of the car park furthest from the terminal. Very happy to use this car park again.”
“Easy to find, easy to access, easy to book, the whole experience was easy and plenty of parking spaces too.
My only issue is the 12 minute walk to and from the Terminal. My journey was during the start of November, but was fortunate the weather was good, but if it had been terrible the walk would be horrible as there is no covered/protected walkway.
If you don't provide a shuttle bus service then a covered walkway should be in place...
All I can suggest for travellers is to make sure you have appropriate clothing with you just in case it's stormy weather when you leave/return to your car.”
