“I'm a regular user of Edinburgh Airport, and once again the long-stay car park seems affected by standing surface water after it has rained. Some of the gateways/walkways that you have to walk through to get to the terminal are flooded, resulting in wet feet when trying to get across.
Such water also regularly surrounds parked cars (see attached photo). Not the best when you have to step in a puddle in order to access your car!
Maybe a bit of a design flaw re. the leveling and drainage of the newly laid car park!
While the new parking areas are an improvement on before, the overall area still isn't really a great welcome for visitors to the airport. Other mainland European airports always seem to offer better car parking facilities.”
