“The Long Stay Parking at Edinburgh no longer includes a shuttle bus service to the terminal, and this is reflected (although to a limited extent) in the price. On my most recent visit I had a lot of bags (for work reasons) and there were no trolleys available. I notice that new trolley parks are now being installed, so I hope that this situation will improve. Overall, it's an expensive car park with limited facilities.”
Thank you for your review.
Our long stay shuttle bus was suspended in 2020. The car park is an approximate 12 minute walk to the terminal and we find it to be a manageable distance for most customers. Those who find the distance unmanageable can contact us directly to discuss how we can support them.
The long stay car park is marketed as a facility that does not have a shuttle bus and this is confirmed on our website and booking confirmations.
I understand how frustrating it will have been to discover there were no trolleys available. Our trolleys are in constant rotation, which means once they have left an area, they must be collected by a member of staff, and processed back into their designated zones. This unfortunately takes time, and on this occasion has meant that the area you were in had no available trolleys.
“Was an easy experience and a good price as I had pre booked. The short walk to the terminal only took about 5-10 minutes. On exit after holiday i just put the ticket I had been issued in at the barrier and it opened and away I went.”
“An easy walk from parking the car to the terminal although it was very windy and unseasonably cold for early July. Not the fault of Long Stay Parking I know! Upon return we quickly located our car and were on our way with no problems. The extra 3 hour grace period proved handy when we came home as our flight had been delayed by just over 2 hours. We will use this again.”
