“Note that the unit only works as intended if your cabinet is the correct height. I fitted it to an Ikea corner cabinet, but this required a block of wood some 120mm thick to be mounted to the underside of the worktop to take up the difference. The Ikea door is not 600mm wide, but this does not matter at all if you move the pillar. The pillar needs to be a few mm further along the sidewall away from the door. The shelving now looks superb and works superbly.”
