Flawless Brightly 10% Azelaic Acid Serum Reviews

4.7 Rating 1,887 Reviews
I am now on 2nd bottle of this serum and my skin looks the best since last August when I started to suffer with really bad perioral dermatitis. In fact for the first time since then, it's completely clear. No inflammation patches, no papules, no antibiotics. I don't know whether it's the serum alone or combination of that, face wash and intense moisturiser, but I am beyond grateful and I cannot recommend those product enough. This is my first skincare subscription and I don't ever want to be without it.

I am unsure if I expected miracles - based on the reviews - but I'm now on my 3rd bottle of Flawless Brightly using exactly as instructed and the difference is negligible. For information: I am 46, South Asian. The pros of my skin are I have no wrinkles. The cons are many: I have uneven skin town and PIH which as a person of colour just stays forever. I use CeraVe cleanser, Flawless Brightly and SPF 50 from another company for sensitive skin. My PIH is still there and I can't say I've noticed much of a difference from the serum on the eveness of my skintone either. It is expensive. I would be willing to pay for it if I felt it did something but after almost 3 months I've not seen sufficient changes to justify a repeat. I also was asked whether I had any questions and replied by email but this disappeared into the ether - I never got a reply. The pro is that my sensitive skin did not react badly at all.

I’m really liking the Brightly Serum, I’m definitely noticing my skin is brighter and gets less oily during the day. However, is the serum supposed to be gritty? It’s not a major issue, but I’m not sure if that’s normal o not?

I have been using this serum for about a month. I don’t really see any difference in my skin but perhaps I need to use it longer to see any results. I had hoped that it would have reduced a sunspot I have on my face but I don’t see any difference.

Hi there, thank you so much for providing us with this feedback. We wouldn't expect a moisturising face cream to get rid of a sunspot. Please get in touch with us at hello@drsambunting.com so we can discuss your current routine.

Unfortunately this product did not work for me. I’m not sure if the ingredients degraded by the time it reached me (I live in the U.S.), but it felt super grainy, almost like sand was mixed in, and left my skin feeling very dry and rough.

A bit soon to review this one, not keen on the texture of this, will carry on with it, as others products are very good.
