The consistency of the serum is beautiful. It sinks in quick and doesn’t feel greasy or oily like some other serums.

“I'm on my second bottle of this now. When I first started using it, following Dr. Sam's rules for introducing it slowly, I did experience some stinging. However this is usual for azelaic acid and sure enough my skin got used to it, and I now use it every day. There was a period last summer when I had the best skin of my life which I think was in part thanks to this! It is quite drying so if you have dry skin it needs a good moisturiser to follow it (I haven't used any from the Dr Sam range so can't comment on those, but La Roche Posay Toleraine range work well). I also don't use if if my skin is feeling sensitive - I have rosacea (which is why I wanted to try it originally - azelaic acid is recommended for rosacea), and generally this has been a good preventative step to my routine, but I wouldn't use it during a flare up. It promises a lot and I think it does improve skin texture and makes your skin look healthy and glow-y.”
