“I’ve been using Brightly for about 5 months now, so I think I've gathered enough experience with the product to formulate a thorough opinion. Brightly is a really light, silky lotion that sinks in immediately. It plays really well with other products in my routine and I’ve never experienced pilling with this product. My main reason for buying Brightly was to get rid of my hormonal spots around my chin en jawline (mainly I wanted to try azelaic acid, because I've already tried salicylic acid and glycolic acid). My hormonal spots usually start as closed comedones and then some might get inflamed eventually. When using Brightly I noticed a reduction in closed comedones, and when they do develop into a spot, they are way less inflamed and much smaller! The spots aren’t even painful and go away much quicker. I do still get some closed comedones here and there on my chin and jawline, but I would say they’ve diminished a lot and the number of inflamed spots also seem to reduce with time. I like the additional vitamin C, but it’s not a potent one. It’s good for just basic anti oxidant protection, but doesn’t give you the same brightening results as a 20% ascorbic acid product would do. I'm on my 2nd bottle and I'm definitely going to repurchase.”
