Flawless Brightly 10% Azelaic Acid Serum Reviews

4.7 Rating 1,898 Reviews
I have now used Dr. Sams products for 3 years, and I have to say I love all of them. Brightly has given my complexion a much more even tone and a glow, especially around my cheek area. They must be good as I have them delivered to the other side of the world(NZ) and that's not easy these covid days.

My skin really loves this serum. I’m onto my second bottle. I have sensitive skin with rosacea/texture on cheeks. This has, along with moisture light, calmed down the raw/sore feeling I get from rosacea and smoothed out the texture on my cheeks. You only need a small amount; I use half a pump. I use this in the am, over moisturiser light then followed by spf, and Nightly in pm.

This is an easy to use product. Some people report polling but I reckon that’s to do with products they layer before/after rather than this serum. It has worked to calm my rosecea - I swapped my prescription for this and I’m glad I did.

The Brightly Serum is a product I will never be without. It not only improves skin texture, but helps immensely with discoloration. The best formula that is truly effective.

I’ve been using Brightly for about 5 months now, so I think I've gathered enough experience with the product to formulate a thorough opinion. Brightly is a really light, silky lotion that sinks in immediately. It plays really well with other products in my routine and I’ve never experienced pilling with this product. My main reason for buying Brightly was to get rid of my hormonal spots around my chin en jawline (mainly I wanted to try azelaic acid, because I've already tried salicylic acid and glycolic acid). My hormonal spots usually start as closed comedones and then some might get inflamed eventually. When using Brightly I noticed a reduction in closed comedones, and when they do develop into a spot, they are way less inflamed and much smaller! The spots aren’t even painful and go away much quicker. I do still get some closed comedones here and there on my chin and jawline, but I would say they’ve diminished a lot and the number of inflamed spots also seem to reduce with time. I like the additional vitamin C, but it’s not a potent one. It’s good for just basic anti oxidant protection, but doesn’t give you the same brightening results as a 20% ascorbic acid product would do. I'm on my 2nd bottle and I'm definitely going to repurchase.
