Simplicity at its best

I had high hopes for this serum considering the price and the amazing amount of actives it contains. Unfortunately, it pills like no other and the texture of the serum itself is not pleasant to use at all. It feels gritty and powdery (I imagine due to the azelaic acid). The packaging also seems to have some issues as the pump sometimes gets stuck and doesn't come back up. However, due to the actives it has and being a one-of-a-kind product on the market, I still appreciate it. If only the texture and application were better, it could be fantastic.

Have used a few different brands of Azalaic acid before. This is definitely the best. Doesn’t cause irritation.

When I use products, I never really expect to notice a difference, just hope it won't make things worse! However I did actually notice my skin looked brighter and clearer very soon after using this serum.

I have been using this for about a year and together with the cleanser it’s my favourite product of the line. Simplifies your routine and works wonders on redness. I do have to be careful how much I use even a year on as if I apply too much it starts irritating my rosacea. I think everyone would benefit from adding this serum to their routine.

I started using Dr Sam's products a few weeks ago and I'm pleased so far. I've been following her advice about taking things slowly and it's definitely paid off. My skin feels very smooth but my real concerns are the areas of pigmentation and my crepey neck. If I can improve those areas I'll be very happy as no products have done that so far, despite their claims. Just giving three stars for now.

I specifically bought this because I wanted to try out Azelaic acid for my red cheeks. I feel like it does help slightly with the redness. But this product pills like you wouldn’t believe. It pills with one pump, it pills with half a pump, it pills on a damp face, on a dry one, by it’s self, or if I let it sit for a few minutes it makes my moisturizer pill too. I honestly don’t want to use it because the experience of it rolling off my face grosses me out, but because it’s so expensive I’m going to force myself.

Hi Jennifer, thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, pilling is unpredictable, as everyone's skin will react differently to product application. We recommend waiting until the skin is touch dry before applying the serum, try not to apply too much pressure when massaging into the skin and waiting until absorbed before applying the moisturiser. Dr Sam's 13 Dot Technique really helps with this!

I love this serum. It's lightweight, fragance free and easy to apply in the morning.
