“I recently ordered a FLAWLESS GOSSAMER TINT SPF 50 and I'm really happy with it. First of all, it doesn't sting my eyes, which is always a problem for me. Secondly I love the tint, which is perfect for everyday use as it doesn't look like I'm wearing any foundation, just gives my skin a lovely glow and evenness.”
“3.5 stars. Listen, this is a beautiful sunblock. It applies nicely and hasn’t caused any adverse reactions on my skin, which is great because my skin is super sensitive.
Cons:
- I understand this is a quality sunscreen, but the price is a bit yikes. Especially because, with how much you need to reapply sunblock, this will be finished super quickly. Which brings me to my next point:
- For the size, and how quickly you’ll likely go through it if you’re using it properly, the plastic waste isn’t ideal.
- I got the Tint 01 because I’m fairly light-skinned. Not super pale, but light. This tint is even slightly too light for me, so I am a bit confused about whether Tint 02 would actually work for POC. I hope so, but more range would still be good. The Dr Sam’s identity in general comes across slightly elitist and not very inclusive. I’d urge you to think on this, especially because your millennial and gen-z consumers are looking for a visible consciousness around ethics.
All in all, happy to have found Dr Sam’s but there is room for improvement.

“I like mineral sunscreens because they don't sting my eyes but struggled to find ones I really like. This might be my favorite followed closely by colorescience. Leaves my skin hydrated and looking great. I don't like wearing foundation so might choose the darker tint next time even though I'm quite pale. Highly recommend.”
