“Really love the product, however I find it expensive for the amount you are able to easily get out of the tube. I am half way through my second tube and have found the same issue as I did with my last tube, the pump doesn't work and I have had to cut the top off the tube now. Would be much happier paying the amount it is if I could actually get use of all the product. I have had the same issue with all my cleansers. Product design needs some attention.”
“I thought that the recommended number of pumps would be far too much but it goes on well and gives optimum spf cover and just enough tint. “Product seems nice but the pump dispenser is weak and breaks easily, meaning its difficult to get the product out without breaking the tubes and exposes the product to the air. A basic squeeze tube would be better. Until resolved I wouldn't re purchase as products get wasted.”
“I love using this on hot summer days when I don't want to fuss with any makeup (because I'll sweat it off!) but still want some light coverage and obviously ample sun protection. No stinging, no stickiness, no extra layered feeling left behind... just a smooth, weightless application and a lovely dewey tint that leaves me comfortable to go out without foundation added on top. Didn't trigger my skin to become more oily, just healthily hydrated. Super nice, would recommend.”
“I got shade # 1 which works great for my skin tone. This sunscreen feels very heavy when you apply the number of pumps recommended. It also settles into my pores and fine lines. I really wanted this sunscreen to work. I tried just applying half the recommended amount but it still feels and looks heavy. I love the Daily Sunscreen and tried applying this sunscreen over it to see if the primer effect of the Daily Sunscreen would help, but no luck. I'll finish off the bottle, but will not repurchase. Also, the pump sometimes does not work until you've pumped about 15 times. The pump is very temperamental. I find that using the Daily Sunscreen topped by the Jan Marini mineral sunscreen gives me the best results. The Daily Sunscreen is like a primer and it makes the Jan Marini mineral sunscreen apply very smoothly and evenly. This combo works the best for me. I hope Dr. Sam can make a mineral sunscreen more like the matte Jan Marini sunscreen.”
“This SPF has been fantastic. I am usually a person with acne/ oily skin, but during my current roaccutane treatment my skin has gone extremely dry and itchy. This SPF has helped to keep my skin more hydrated and comfortable, whilst also keeping me protected from the sun while I am having my treatment.”
“I've been following Dr Sam for years and my skin definitely got better because of her advice. I was very curious to try her products and I'm not disappointed. My skin is oily and reactive and I live in cold climate. Brightly and Gossamer give me enough moisture to skip moisturizer and never looks greasy. Might be too heavy for summer but won't be without in winter ever!”
“I’m confused by all the glowing reviews but also I’m glad this works for other people. However, this is way too shiny for me. It’s so shiny it’s embarrassing to wear. If the shine were toned down, it would make for a pretty awesome sunscreen but it makes me look like I have a thick layer of oil on my face”
