“This is possibly the best SPF I have found. I have ridiculously sensitive skin and this feels like a treatment boost for my skin and with just right amount of coverage. It covers my ad hoc rosiness evenly and is buildable on areas when necessary. It never dries, cakes or pills, and neither does it slide off. This is the first time I have ever had compliments about my skin!!”

“I’m still searching for my holy grail (tinyed moisturiser with decent spf that can go straight into bare skin), and this is so nearly there! It does need a moisturiser underneath though so it’s just a step away from perfect. The texture is thick but sheets out well on the face, the tint is great for my pale skin- it does transfer very easily though so it’s a no for my neck or when wearing white. It feels nourishing and leaves a lovely glow. Great spf protection.”

I was really hoping this tinted spf would be elegant like elta md uv physical or Jan Marini physical that leave my skin glorious looking with a little coverage. Gossamer tinted is a lovely colour for pale skin but leaves my skin incredibly greasy, very shiny! I look dreadful, powder on top made it look even worse. I’m so disappointed to say the least.

“Horribly disappointing product. Made my face look WET, SWEATY, GREASY. Not appropriate for everyday use if you want to look elegant and not a mess. Not ‘flawless’ or even ‘dewy’.
Shininess emphasised lumps and bumps, making me LOOK OLDER.
Couldn’t wear this product alone.
Tint 01 was just the right tint for very pale skin, but needed to be a bit more opaque to even skin tone better, so still needed additional concealer.”

“I tried this product and was really surprised by how thick it was. Following a YouTube video where Dr. Sam recommended using six pumps, I first applied three pumps and then waited a few minutes before applying another three pumps. However, after the first three pumps, I couldn’t imagine adding more, as it felt like I had already applied a full face of makeup. Still, I wanted to stick to the guidelines, so I applied the additional three pumps.
Unfortunately, the sunscreen was so thick that it left lines on my face when I moved, making it completely unwearable. It also took a long time to dry, which caused it to transfer onto everything throughout the day.
On a positive note, it wasn’t drying on the skin. To use it up, I mixed a bit with my regular sunscreen to give it a tint. While there are many positive reviews, I understand that skincare doesn’t work for everyone, but this was my experience.”
Hi Pippa, thank you for sharing your detailed feedback with us. We're sorry to hear that the product application and finish didn’t meet your expectations. Flawless Gossamer Tint can be hydrating enough on its own, so you might want to skip moisturiser or apply a lighter moisturiser when using it. Another tip is to apply Flawless Gossamer in 2 layers (3 pumps each) to better allow the product to absorb. Dr Sam's 13 Dot Technique really helps with this! These adjustments mean you can use the product as a 3-in-1: moisturiser, sunscreen and make-up in one! We hope this helps!
