“When I first started using this Gossamer tint I didn't think I would get on with it as it felt sticky and tacky on application . After a while I started to appreciate the natural glow it gives . I like the colour on my fair skin and the fact that it is a mineral sunscreen . It doesn't irritate my rosacea or clog pores . I am converted !”
“I have used tint 1 for two years and enjoyed it as someone with rosacea , however it has always been too light for my olive skin tone . I finally tried tint 2 , and it is way too orange on my skin tone to use the needed 6 pumps . Even 2 pumps is too orange , unfortunately.
Currently , I am mixing it in with tint 1 . For the first layer of sunscreen I use 1 pump of tint 2 , and 2 pumps of tint 1 for a full 3 pumps . I do the same for the next 3 pumps to complete the sunscreen application .
Please make a olive skin tone friendly version of this ! Those of us with yellow / green undertones don’t look well with tan orange application . We aren’t “fair” and we can tan , but our undertones are not orange or deep brown .
I see that the olive tint will occur soon , and I Hope it is a perfect mix of tint 1 and tint 2 !”

“Sunscreen left a slight white caste which soon disappeared. For me, it did not work well under makeup & I always had pilling. After a while, the pump stopped working, I didn’t think it was empty, so cut the tube open to find lots of product left, but cracked & dry. Not nice to use. Will not purchase again.. I’ve had a few issues with the packaging of products…(the night serum in particular)”

Pilling is unpredictable, as everyone's skin will react differently to product application. We recommend waiting until the skin is touch dry before applying your products, try not to apply too much pressure when massaging into the skin and waiting until absorbed before applying the next step in your routine. Dr Sam's 13 Dot Technique really helps to spread the product evenly.
Regarding Gossamer packaging, we value our customers' feedback and as soon as we were aware of the faulty mechanism, we began working on new and improved packaging which will be available very soon!

“It’s impossible to exaggerate how greasy this is. I want to love it, because it’s a great tint, but I’d be less greasy putting a budget supermarket sun cream on my face. Very disappointing, and definitely not for reapplication every day”

“I really want to love this but it is soooo greasy. It's so hard to find a tinted SP|F light enough for my skin tone but I will not repurchase. Even using one pump under other SPF leaves a greasy finish.”

“Very nice mineral sunscreen from Dr. Sam! I have used this exclusively with my sensitive, rosacea skin as it does not irritate. The product is thick but smooths out with a little bit of work. I appreciate that there are two tints, I use shade 01 and there is no white cast. It does remain slightly tacky even after the initial dry down but as I wear makeup this is not an issue for me- lays beautifully under makeup if you give it at least 10 minutes to dry down before going in. All around I am very thankful for this very nice product that does not irritate my skin (a rarity!)”
