“I’ve recently converted to Dr Sam and I’ve bought a tonne of the products which I absolutely love. So I naturally wanted to get the matching SPF too. But before spending even more money I wanted to try both SPF options as a free sample first . I have normal - oily skin and personally I find this way , way too thick and shiny. I can’t imagine layering this with other products and make up on top. I find it quite greasy looking, not dewy. I put it over the flawless moisturiser and I feel quite coated in product. Sadly this is the first Dr Sam product I don’t like at all. I’ve seen a number of people saying they feel the SPF’s are too thick and I have to agree. I’ll stick to my Heliocare gel for now. But I do love the rest of the range. I wanted to post this to just suggest people get a free sample first to try out , mainly if you have skin like mine. It’s probably great for dry skin.”
“So new packaging is the reason it’s now 5 stars!!! Previous packaging was problematic and I ended up having to cut into with scissors. Love having a tinted sunscreen as it means I’ve sacked my foundation. I’m in between tint 1 and 2 so blend them it’s perfect.”
“I'm seriously amazed by this product. I got it because I'm fed up of wearing makeup but I wanted something to give me a nice glowy even complexion and this product really delivers. It's lightweight, almost has a whipped mousse consistency, melts into the skin, doesn't cause any irritation especially around the eyes which is huge for me as all sunscreens irritate my eyes. Dr Sam posted a video in the summer about going from the beach to the beach bar makeup - that's now how I do my makeup everyday. It's perfect. Just looks natural and healthy and shows off the great skin underneath. I wear tint 1 and it's perfect for me as I never tan, only burn. I've tried this with and without moisturiser on underneath and it works great in both situations. Personally I skip moisturiser and go straight for this with untinted gossamer on my neck.”
