“I absolutely love this formula, it is so smooth and silky but doesn’t leave your skin too shiny. However, the pump mechanism needs some work - in both of my Gossamer products it is really hard to get a full pump even when the product is brand new and full, sometimes you get nothing, sometimes you get half a pump etc. This makes it harder to get the exact 6 pump amount for spf 50 coverage. Still five stars though because I really do love the formula!”
“EDIT: after a few weeks, I started experiencing increasing amounts of pilling and the sunscreen started collecting in my pores. Sadly not a winner after all.
While I’ve not had this for long, I can tell it’s a winner.
My combo skin usually gets shiny by midday, but this SPF keeps my skin looking fresh without shine. I’m surprised that I need moisturiser underneath, but it’s a tad drying without.
For days I need my skin to play ball, this is my new fave.”
“I have used Dr Sam’s other SPF since it’s launch and whilst I know it’s really good for my skin it did always leave me super shiny leaving me to be tempted to try other brands/formulations (with not too much success and always reverting back to Dr Sam despite the shine).
This product is much better and I am pleased to say I absolutely love it. It isn’t drying as it promises, I feel protected but equally my face isn’t a oil slick! My only observation is that I am naturally fair and despite really working the product in, it does leave an ever so slight white cast (it’s barely detectable). It’s not an issue for me. Once again, Dr Sam delivers.”
