“Unsurprisingly Dr Sam’s Flawless Hand Therapy is a pleasure to use. I love how rich it is, and that it sinks in almost straight away. My hands felt moisturised for hours after applying it, and they never felt greasy after application. I’m so glad it’s fragrance free, and I think it’s about the right level of richness. I wish it were available in a larger size as well as a 50ml tube! I like the tube container too as it’ll be easy to cut open the tube and get ALL of the product out. It’s so good I don’t want to waste any of it”
“Thanks so much for sending the lovely hand cream. As someone who washes their hands frequently, this is a no brainer product for me. It leaves my dry hands feeling sumptuously soft, but also dries very quickly. This is a must for me, I’ve not got on with hand creams before that take too long to dry and stop you from getting on with things. A really useful product to live next to the sink for after each wash. It’s going to be fantastic going into winter.”
“I was excited to try Dr Sam's hand cream because my hands get so dry but I haven't found a hand cream which doesn't feel slimy and prevent me getting on with tasks.
I first tried it at night and was pleasantly surprised to see the skin on my hands looking a lot plumper and smoother the next morning. When I used it during the day I made the mistake initially of putting on too much - a little really does go a long way, so it will be quite economical. I found the best way to use it was to put a small amount on the backs of my hands and rub them together. Then rub my nail beds and backs of my fingers and knuckles on the backs of my hands, lastly using a "handwashing" motion to include the palms of my hands. This makes sure that the parts most in need get more of the cream and I can still pick things up, write, type, whatever.
I highly recommend and will definitely be repurchasing!”
“My hands were dry before I started using the Dr Sam hand cream - to the point that they were feeling quite sore and tight. I was impressed from the first application- it really does go in easily without stickiness (except for the time I put on way too much!) and my hand felt instantly relieved and more comfortable. It absorbs quickly and you don’t need loads - a pea sized amount was right for me. Over the week I’ve been using it, my hands are greatly improved and I can see as well as feel the difference now. A lovely hand cream that I will definitely add to my routine - and the packaging is perfect to pop in your handbag.”
“For background, for some reason I have very reactive skin on my hands (I don’t have sensitive skin anywhere else) and I have only ever found one hand cream I can use without it immediately burning (which is Hoofmaker by Mane N Tail). This includes a lot of the usual ones marketed as for sensitive skin.
The good news is I DIDN’T react to Dr Sam’s! It has a lovely silky feel going on and really makes my hands feel nourished and feeling soft for a few hours between applications. The only slight drawback I have is that I don’t find it is as quickly absorbing as my favourite Hoofmaker hand cream, however it is a bit thicker and more indulgent so I guess that is the price you pay for the richer formula.
I would say going forward, I would choose to use my existing Hoofmaker in the day (as it absorbs faster) and use Dr Sam’s at night when I don’t need it to absorb as fast.”
“I’ve been using it every morning and night and when I wash my hands. I have very dry hands and I’ll be honest this has been a lifesaver! When I applied it at first I thought it was quite greasy and thick but it sank into my hands in no time. I am very impressed with it. I also have dry cuticles and they are lovely and smooth after using this. I actually let my husband use it too and his hands were much smoother after using it for a few days!

As someone who has never been able to stick to using hand cream previously, I’m really surprised how quickly this has become a daily staple!
I’ve always found hand creams really greasy and I just don’t have time to wait for them to finally sink in etc.

“I have been using the handcream and I have been reaching for it when i get up in the morning and just before i go to bed in the evening. I really like the texture of the cream, it sinks in well without leaving hands greasy. I do love a sensorial experience when using products and did feel this was missing as it is frgrance free but this would not stop me from using the cream . The cream left my hands feeling very hydrated and i noticed i was not getting the hard skin around my nails so really enjoyed using the cream.”
