“I really wanted to like this but it made me break out on my cheeks, which had been clear for months, and my skin felt lumpy. I passed it onto my mum who never gets spots and she said agreed that it feels nice when you first put it on but the next morning, your skin feels bumpy.
I think there was too much shea butter in for my skin - I definitely wouldn't say this moisturiser is non-comedgonic...
I was disappointed because my skin loves the Flawless Cleanser and I wanted to love this too but unfortunately, my skin did not agree with it and a few months later is still trying to recover from the effects it had.”
“I am torn. I do have pretty dry skin and my esthetician noticed my Skin barrier is quite upset. I had high hopes that Dr. Sam's Moisturizer would repair my skin barrier but this alone seems not quite enough. I am getting dry patches around the mouth and tiny wrinkles show up more if I only use the moisturizer. I believe it is not occlusive enough for my current state of damaged skin and maybe the niacinamide is a little too effective in balancing oils too. BUT my esthetician recommended this cream for summer month and was pretty pleased with the ingredients and the ingredients and texture of the cleanser. I will re-order the cleanser and have a try at the light moisturizer on top of some oil/wax treatments my esthetician gave me for hydration and the ceramides and I am def. going to encorporate flawless moisturizer back into my routine as soon as my skin isn't that damaged anymore since it works wonders on brightening my skin and lets it look vivid and alive again :) Only too drying for me at the moment.”
