“I went from being a skincare hoarder to a total Dr Sam convert. Her brightly serum changed my skin - i went from having irregular breakouts to having normal skin. While I was having issues with my skin I only used brightly serum and the moisturiser. “Over the last several years my approach to my skincare has changed and, like so many others, I charged into the new single-purpose actives and layering. To be honest I used six or more separate ingredients both am and pm. It was time-consuming but let me know what did or didn't work on my skin. When I watched a YouTube video by Sam I was intrigued because the one thing among all my experiments that I had not improved was my Rosacea outbreaks and here was an active product that did all that and more.
When I received my first order of the Radiance Duo I stopped using any other actives and only used cleanser, a mild toner/essence and occasionally some vitamin C, these two products started to work and showed quite a rapid improvement in my skin and (joy of joy) my Rosacea flareups were very mild. I hung in there and am now a true believer so I ordered my second Duo set.
While the Duo is a little pricey, I found the accumulated cost of all my separate ingredients was almost as much and is increasing every day so it was a no brainer to place a second order. I now just slap moisturizer and SPF 50 sunscreen over it and call it done (big hole in the ozone layer here) unless I am going out and need a little colour and it takes less than half the time. The con is that while it works its magic quite quickly, the only minus I can find is the time it takes to make its way all the way down to New Zealand, but foresight counters that little drawback. Admittedly I would love to be able to purchase it closer to home but we can't have everything.”
