“I really wanted to love these products, as I am always looking for skincare that is backed by science. Although the nightly serum says to expect some purging with use of retinol, within three days of using the products I developed 3 massive cystic spots on my chin that were throbbing and sore and so swollen it almost deformed my chin. I have not ever had a cystic spot in my life and I rarely suffer from pimples at all, the experience was really damaging for my self esteem, not to mention painful! The lip balm arrived defective and had a horrible, pungent, chemical smell to it which was not the experience I had with the first tube, which didn’t smell of anything. The moisturiser and cleanser are fairly unobjectionable but also not particularly noteworthy in my opinion. Additionally I found the sunscreen to be impossible to soak into my skin, despite leaving plenty of time between skin care steps as recommended. Additionally it made my makeup look horrible and patchy. This has been my experience with the products, which is not to say it will be the same for everyone, I am not sure if perhaps I received a defective batch since all the products seem to going haywire and none of them are doing what they are supposed to.”
“I’ve only been using the Dr Sam System products for 2 weeks but I’ve already seen a massive improvement with my skin. I was skeptical about spending over £100 on skincare as I usually just buy what is on offer at Boots but I decided to bite the bullet and treat myself. Let me just say that I have only been using this set for less than a week and my skin is GLOWING! It is so smooth, my pigmentation has virtually disappeared and despite the fact that I have a toddler who wakes up at the crack of dawn I always look healthy and awake.
