The 4th batch of the limited edition GlenAllachie 21 has been picked out of 50,000 casks that mature on site. Only three vintage Pedro Ximenez puncheons have been picked for this ultra-limited release.The house style, heather honey forward distillate stands up well to the ageing in rich sherry oak which creates a rich, luxurious malt.Waves of clementine zest, raisins and honeycomb with cocoa, fruit cake and caramelised brown sugar. The palate has bursts of baking spices, rich chocolate and heather honey followed by treacle, orchard fruits and black cherries with sweetened espresso on the finish.
