Grapes sourced from vineyards that lie in the shadow of El Descabezado volcano are grown of rocky glacial soils. The vines were planted in 2000, and the grapes are naturally low yielding producing concentrated flavours. Part of the juice is aged in Vosges oak barrels and is then blended with the unoaked juice. The resulting wines is elegant with juicy red fruits; Strawberry, red currant and raspberries which follow through to the palate with a touch of spicy oak on the finish. A great value pinot from Chiles Central valley. Food Pairing:Try this Pinot Noir with finger licking marinated ribs, pink lamb and roasted veggies!
