Part of the Elgin Classic range this sherry cask finish uses only the finest Oloroso casks and are used to mature this great single malt. This cask brings unmistakable vanilla notes and light oak is there in the background still. Rich and vibrant dried red and dark fruit with earthy and nutty notes from the sherry.On the nose this is dried fruits, cinnamon and dark toffee sweets. To the palate this brings sweet vanilla oak, dark chocolate and oriental spices. This whisky gives a lovely satisfyingly long finish with a light tingle of spice.
