This Old Pulteney 12 year old is matured in hand selected ex-bourbon casks. Distilled using long forgotten crafts and techniques this whisky has been a winner of many medals including a gold at the San Fransisco World Spirits Competition 2018. The appearance is a deep amber, golden red with a slight pink hue and glistening with a copper tone. On the nose this brings a briny hint from the sea air. On the palate this is a dry medium bodied but smooth whisky. Flavours of honey and cream, faintly salty with a slight spicy note ending with a long lasting sweet note.
