Aged in sherry barrels for four months at sea, this aquavit is then aged for a further twelve in port caks. The extra maturation of Linie Double Cask Port creates an additional smoothness. It also adds an extra complexity and taste dimension with hints of dried fruit and sweet vanilla to the originals notes of caraway and star anise.

“Fantastic, delicious, the warm slightly fruity notes of port ageing definatly comes through. We decant it into a small glass bottle and put it in the freezer because it really is best enjoyed cold. Though it's like a hit of sunshine! It has become my favourite tipple, especially as an aperitif.”
