A single vineyard Pinot Noir from the Maule Valley in Chile on a steep hillside in the Andes Mountains. Its name means Little hell and is sited on the side of a volcano where its 60+ year old vines produce some amazing grapes. The wine is aged in a combination of new and used French oak to add weight and complexity but the quality of the fruit still shines through. The nose has lifted red berry fruits with a touch of spice. The palate has rich fruits but also elegance and good length of flavour for such and inexpensive pinot. Great Value.
