“Pleasantly surprised, I thought the unusual bottle branding would be just another gimmick (see my review for deadhead rum) but this rum was of good quality and pleasant to drink with or without a mixer. This rum can hold it's own and the taste comes through even when a mixer is used. Tastes of cane sugar type rum from Caribbean region only a little smoother, the harshness experienced from some other varieties (Brugal etc) not found with this brand. Vaguely similar to Spytail rum without the ginger infusion. Not inexpensive but worth a punt to keep for good friends or enjoy to yourself :)”
