This special bottling from Tomintoul distillery commemorates their 50th Anniversary starting back in 1965. Individual casks where selected by Master distiller Robert Fleming from 1965, 1975, 1985, 1995 and 2005 and married together to produce this unique single malt. The nose was sweet malt with hints of exotic fruits with cedar from a cigar box. Complex on the palate with tropical fruits, hazelnuts and almonds, wrapped in rich wood notes. The finish is gently spiced with ginger and a pepper twist. 1 of 5230 bottles worldwide.
