This is a delicious Organic Cabernet Sauvignon from the Western Cape with the benefit of having no added Sulphur, also Fairtrade. The ducks on the label are Indian Runner ducks which roam through the vineyards helping to maintain the pests. Lovely blackcurrant with fresh raspberries on the palate with silky smooth tannins.

“I’m not sure if this is a bad batch or as the wine is intended but it smelt awful (smelt like bad whiskey?) and tasted worse - it tasted like soil and/or duck poo?! I don’t know if the branding was leading me to think the latter! But definitely an undrinkable flavour. I’ve never chucked away a glass of red before! Sadly wouldn’t go near this again.”
