“This is a really complex and sophisticated spiced rum. The spicing is not overly sweet, and has luscious layers of vanilla, nutmeg and aromas of warm ginger and sweet orange. Excellent straight, on ice, but also versatile enough to work well in mixed drinks where the layers of flavour add an extra dimension to both classic and modern cocktails”

“A delicious rum - coming from someone who isn't usually keen on spiced rum (I prefer straight dark), the flavour Dark Matter provides is powerful, with notes of anise and ginger. I was surprised to discover Dark Matter is produced in Scotland. Having sampled this recently, I knew I had to source a bottle. It really is a warmer and one I'll be buying again when this bottle gets low.”
