A fruit-driven, slightly spicy pale Rose with summer fruits on the palate and a lovely clean, dry finish. Fruit forward, it is delightfully very gently off-dry.False Bay Rose is produced from Cinsaut (as the South Africans spell it)and Mourvdre. They generally prefer Rhne varietals for making Rose, so the search was on to find vineyards which would accomplish their goal. Old Cinsaut vineyards in the Stellenbosch and Swartland area clinched the deal and a small portion of Mourvdre from Stellenbosch and Elgin region adds to further complexity.
