Made in Newquay, Cornwall by the Real Rum Company, Bombo Caramel & Coconut Full On is a flavoured rum combining the exotic flavours of coconut, caramel and Caribbean rum. A seductively smooth drink which is very moreish. The Full On version is the same flavour profile as the regular Bombo Caramel and Coconut except its bottled at a more potent 40% ABV. That will certainly get you swinging from the topsails! The palate is smooth and luscious, mouth coating with a hint of coconut on the finish. Drink on its own or over ice. The recipe is inspired by one of the oldest mixed rum drinks in the world originating from an 18th century pirate recipe where rum was mixed with sugar and spices. It was also known as Bumboo or Bumbo. This was to help disguise the rather rough taste of the rums being produced back in those days, thankfully a problem we dont have to contend with in this century!Bombo Rum is available in a further four varieties; Bombo Caramel & Banana, Bombo Caramel & Spices and Bombo Caramel & Coconut at 24% ABV plus Bombo Caramel & Spices Full On at 40% ABV..
