Grande Absente 69, is a French Absinthe containing a higher amount of Thuyone (35mg/l) compared with other Absinthes which gives this a slight bitter taste. Drink in the traditional method with sugar or add to cocktails.

“I am an absinthe drinker...I know that sounds a bit like an old song about cider but things couldn't be more different. As far as Absinthe goes it's all about the herbs and their virtues that give the flavour and colour to a powerful distillation. Originally I was interested along the lines of Vincent van G, Aleister Crowley, Oscar Wilde and all the rest - just to taste and maybe understand, and I've tried a few, here, there, in France and Spain, and even 'somewhere else'... This is the best I've found (in the U.K.) and yes, the Thujone does matter, and yes it should be drunk with some care. I have found it to be therapeutic and with good affect on a psychological level. One hopes that is a positive write up, aum ha!”
