“Why has it taken me so long to find this rum? Because I have been adding coke to basic white rum. What a difference. I have always felt guilty about adding coke but now I find it enhances this rum. The Skipper explodes with a myriad of flavours: liquorice, berries and something burnt. Cheers.”

“Strong notes of toffee and burnt caramel dominate this rum in the glass. Neat it's a gentler taste with a mellow finish and lingering flavour of demerera in the mouth. This rum is amazing when drunk with a nice cola mixer - Fentimans or Fever Tree are good and not too sweet..”

“"The best in this rum world" or so it says on the label. A dark Demerara rum, smooth and flavoursome enough to sip neat, with enough kick to know you have had a tot. Makes a good Rum and Coke. For the price Skipper Rum is a good choice. A quality product at a reasonable price.”
