“I'm a huge fan of JD - have been for a long time, but occasionally, it's nice to raise the stakes and dabble in their more upmarket selection. Gentleman Jack is a favourite but the Single Barrel takes one onto a whole new plane of enjoyment. Recommended for sitting in front of a log fire on a Winter's evening, dog at your feet, spouse cuddled up, watching repeats of the Sopranos..........bliss”
