The new blend brings the rum back in line with releases previous to that.The Walter Hicks recipe features a carefully selected blend of aged rums up to five years old from Trinidad and the Dominican Republic, delivering depth, smoothness, and character. These are complemented by the vibrant, unaged pot still rums of Jamaica and Cornwall, bringing a lively, estery intensity to the blend. Adding a final touch of finesse is a light, unaged rum from Guyana, contributing subtle sweetness and lift. All distilleries are undisclosed.The result is a complex and versatile spirit that captures both heritage and innovation rich enough to sip, yet bright and characterful for mixing.
