“This fire looks lovely now fitted. however it has been a catalogue of errors by the company we bought from and also the screws and fittings with the actual fire. we ordered by phone, paid, we then received a call to say it was discontinued and no longer available. On a search of thier own warehouse they found the fires. All was on track again. Delivery was good, I tracked the item and it arrived as it should.
We then booked the gas engineer, however all the screws were wrong. We then had to purchase locally all the lot! I appreciate that if I had rung the supplier they would have sent out new ones but, I needed to fit it that day.
Also the engineer noted that access for him to the back of this fire is exceptionally difficult, due to the length of the fittings at the back of the fire. they need to add about three cm longer to allow for easier fitting.
Although we are happy with the finished result, the fire was very difficult to fit, not helped by not having the correct screws. Alot of time was lost due to simply not receiving all the correct items and the design, which was obviously not done by a gas engineer.”

It's good to hear that you're impressed with the Broseley Canterbury Slimline gas stove now that it's been fitted, though we're sorry for any inconvenience relating to the delivery and fitting.
As you mention, there was some confusion relating to this model given that it had been discontinued by the supplier but was in physical stock. We're glad that this was resolved as quickly as possible and that the stove was still received in good time.
We're also sorry to hear that there were some fixings missing from the delivery. As you mention, we would have been happy to arrange new parts had this been brought to our attention, but we do appreciate the urgency under the circumstances. We're not aware of any previous issues relating to the fixings or the assembly, but we appreciate your feedback so that we (and our suppliers) can continue to try and offer the best possible level of service.
