“We received the first surround which had many imperfections. Another was sent and the same imperfections but in different places.
We decided to make good and swap the good pieces with the imperfections to make a surround instead of returning them both.
We had 2 fireplaces laying in our hallway and had no room for any more. Direct fireplaces were very good organising the collection and replacment but it was a huge inconvenience.
The surround clearly had not been checked before it left the supplier.
However at no point has direct fireplaces offered a jesture of goodwill for the inconvenience”
