We were not happy to be left with ten heavy bags of rubbish to get rid of.This was not mentioned in discussion before the fitting and the reaction of the member of staff at Direct Fires was that it was my rubbish and he couldn't care less.Fortunately for him the job had been done and the bill paid or it would have been cancelled.”

This said, we are sorry to hear of any inconvenience relating to the debris. In general, the fitters that we recommend through our showrooms do not carry refuse disposal licenses. While they are quite happy to assist with removal of an pre-installed fireplace and installation of a new fireplace made good, there is no guarantee made as to disposal of any rubbish. We would generally recommend raising this with the showroom or fitting team prior to booking if there are any concerns relating to this aspect of the installation process.
