“This fire exceeded my expectations. The flame effect, with the logs etc in place, is actually very realistic.
Fitting was straightforward, although dimensions do not include the two handling brackets on the sides. These are not mentioned in the instructions either, but could be unscrewed if required (I cut a slot in the surrounding frame to accommodate them so I could still use them during the fitting.
A minor gripe is that the surface of the surround has a wavy finish. At first I thought it had been dented in one spot until I realised it it’s just how it is - a reflection (sorry about the pun) of the sheet material construction, but once fitted I no longer notice it”
