“I ordered this inset fire as I particularly liked the flush finish with no surround. After fitting, I was disappointed that the edge finish wasn't as perfectly neat as it could be. I have learned that in reality It is very difficult to fit an inset fire with exact perfection without a surround, there is a very slight rough edge which our plasterer did his best to keep flush and tidy with the fire edge. On reflection i should have ordered the model with the surround which would have alleviated the problem we have. My husband is looking at adding some sort of edging strip to make the finish neater. The fire itself is lovely and even without the heater turned on the lighting features gives off a lovely warming glow.”
