Although this product is very well made and a perfect specific model fit there are some aspects which could be improved on. Four small self tapping screws to secure it to thin centre console plastic could prove to be insufficient, it needs something more substantial. The strength and rigidity of the installation should not rely solely on the thickness and quality of the material to which it is being attached. Those aftermarket armrests which push into the cupholder appear much better and do not necessitate drilling the car's interior fittings! Although the removable pocket is possibly useful to some I would have preferred just an extra small compartment with a hinged lid. Armster need to get out their measuring tape because the height is insufficient to enable resting one's arm and at the same time keeping hold of the steering wheel with said arm/hand. With the rest down it is virtually impossible to operate the handbrake, insert a seatbelt or change gear. This is not improved much with the rest up. It should raise to a vertical position and out of the way, it doesn't, it sits at a forward facing angle. The sliding top cover is pointless too. Moving to the forward position makes access to the aforementioned conrols even more difficult. I would also suspect in that position it causes even more stress on the already inadequate fixing method. So, for me personally, an expensive and very disappointing mistake.

Having fitted as per instructions I find that the base could have been stronger, as it is it flexes and compresses with pressure from the elbow, also the arm does impede on the operation of the handbrake . In conclusion very disappointing . Mr Bryan Robinson
