“This is a beautiful organic cotton bedding item including beautiful coconut shell buttons. I was very disappointed that a product purchased for its environmental credentials should arrive in a plastic bag, when they also use a beautiful cotton bag. This thing is way overwrapped and I hate waste.”

Hi Nigel! Thanks so much for leaving this lovely review for our bed linen. Our brand is rooted in a dislike for plastic, and at the beginning of our journey we chose to use secondary recycled plastic for our inner bags. These bags are necessary because they ensure our products arrive at your door in their best state: perfectly clean and dry. As our brand has grown, we have explored more options which support our mission to make thoughtful, purposeful decisions that help make the world a better place for everyone. We were working hard behind the scenes last year to refine our ideas and find the best solution, and I'm pleased to let you know that we’ve now developed 100% home compostable inner packaging. Made from non-GMO corn, these bags will compost within 6-12 months in a well maintained compost heap. Around 20% of our older stock remains in our old packaging, and we have chosen not to change this so that we do not produce more waste than necessary. Soon, we’ll be completely plastic free!

“The soft and smooth duvet set we bought is absolutely gorgeous. It is so soft to the touch and lovely to sleep under. The classic design with the edged detail is pretty too. This is the best linen we have ever bought! And we love the company's ethos too. We appreciated the message that came with the linen signed by George. It was a beautiful personal touch. We highly recommend the duvet set and buying from Dip and Doze.”
