“I ordered an Afternoon Tea Hamper to share with my Mum on a family anniversary made more poignant by the Covid-19 lockdown. Despite the busyness of courier firms my order arrived on the day I’d chosen. Everything was beautifully packed with the clotted creamed wrapped in a mini cool-bag. How did we eat it? Well, I had a bottle of champagne in stock and there were some potted shrimps in the freezer. The table was laid with a favourite tea service and a three-tier cake stand. Everything was delicious with the scones the best I have tasted outside the West Country. We followed the Cornish tradition of spreading the split scones with lush strawberry jam before topping them with heaps of thick yellow-crusted clotted cream. I usually drink Lady Grey tea but I think the Cornish Smugglers Brew included in my hamper will be a regular tipple. We were like two Malory Towers girls all grown-up taking tea at The Dorchester. What larks! Thank you, Sam, for making one afternoon a little special.”

“I could not fault the hamper at all. It arrived on time, and was beautiful packed. So much so I didn’t want to start eating it! This was a gift for my mums birthday, due to lockdown we were not able to go out for actual afternoon tea, but I can easily say that this hamper was better than some afternoon teas I’ve gone out for before. The quality of all the food, jam and cream, was above and beyond that I would have expected. So excited to buy another on already.”
