“The cake itself was very nice , a bit rich but the whole was good .
However I ordered for my daughters Birthday, so arranged it to be delivered on her Birthday, but it didn't arrive until the following day , so we couldn't have it at her party and had to buy another cake elsewhere for her party.
When I complained I was abruptly told I'd have to send the cake back for a refund, no apologise, no anything, just very rude and this was the manager. The customer service is absolutely appalling, so I wouldn't recommend buying off this company as you will probably end up with no cake for your occasion.”
“The cake only got 3 stars as it was not the cakes fault. The cake I ordered to be delivered on the day before my daughters birthday to ensure we didn't have any delays on the day. It was not delivered and whilst waiting for the cake my daughter was late to her dinner reservation. The delivery guy left the cake downstairs in the hallway instead of bringing it upstairs to the delivery address on the first floor. If I would have known it had been delivered as in a delivery guy actually climbing the stairs to knock on my door, we could have left sooner. I left the cake in the car as I didn't have time to take it to my mothers before we got on the train. The cake was melted and leaning to one side although it said it could stay out of the fridge. It was left in a car in November it was not warm. Overall a terrible experience with delivery it ruined my daughters birthday waiting for a cake that was then melted. The cake itself was delicious and would have looked beautiful had it been delivered on time and to my door.”
