“My go-to cleanser. I have bought back ups so I don’t run out! It transforms from a cream to an oil and feels so luxurious. It leaves your skin feeling hydrated rather than tight and stripped. It is perfect!”
“This is an interesting cleanser, but you have to use it correctly to get the most out of it.Step 1: It comes out in a thick cream consistency and you have to apply that to DRY skin, as you first apply it the cleanser feels like a makeup remover balm and as you continue massaging it in the cleanser turns into oil.Step 2: The oil really easily removes oil based makeup, it can remove waterproof mascara too but you will have to gently rub the lashes for it to get fully removed. You can also remove any dirt, grime and natural oils on your face even if you want to use this cleanser but aren't wearing makeup.Step 3: Once you are done with the oil part of cleansing, wet your hands and add some water to your face, the cleanser will turn into a milk cleanser and gently wash away any makeup or dirt that the oil just broke apart.Step 4: Wash off.The cleanser does not sting eyes if some gets in them (kind of inevitable if trying to remove eye makeup) but the vision does go cloudy white for a bit.Once the cleanser is washed off the face feels as if it has been well moisturised so it would be suitable even for people with very dry and sensitive skin. The ingredients are very beneficial for dry skin but also for acne prone skin - Squalane and vitamins B & E can help moisturise the skin and protect the skin barrier to avoid overproducing oil which can cause acne. The linoleic acid is amazing for controlling oil production, dealing with existing acne and preventing new breakouts.Highly suggest trying this cleanser if you have problematic skin, whether it's very dry or oily and acne prone.”
“Not having used anything from this range before I have to say I'm impressed. This product when mixed in the hands with a little warm water kind of emulsifies and can then be used for cleansing. My main use is removing sun cream or cleaning my skin when it is very oily. For my wife this product was great for make up removal, as it is very gentle on her sensitive skin.Great to see "no nasties" in there, and it seems to cleanse without drying the skin.Neither I nor my wife have reacted and we both have sensitive skin so this is a cleanser we will definitely be using throughout the summer.”
“I got this product thinking it was for sensitive skin but the ingredients include a few different types of oil, so it is good for breaking down and removing makeup but not so much to be used as a cleanser. I have sensitive, acne prone skin and this made me break out.”
“This comes nicely boxed, with the cleanser itself in a plastic bottle with push-down pump and clear lid. Unfortunately mine had somehow leaked, as I noticed a lot of greasiness everywhere when I took it out of the box and the inside of the clear cap was wet. Im not sure how it happened with a cap over the pump or how there was greasiness everywhere, but it was a bit disappointing and Im not sure how much product was lost as you cant see inside the bottle. With the poor arrival aside, this is a surprisingly good cleanser, or at least it has been for my skin. Its a squalane cleanser with a mix of other ingredients, including some more natural ones like rice bran oils and grapeseed. Its designed to help clean the skin and remove make-up, SPF and dirt, as well as hydrate and protect the skins barrier. This apparently uses airless technology to make it easier to use up the whole bottle, which Im hoping is true as Im looking forward to using this one for the foreseeable. Its 100% vegan and 100% cruelty-free, which is good to know. This is different to most cleansers Ive used in that its applied to dry skin, and I keep forgetting each time I use it. So take 1 or 2 pumps of the cream and massage into skin, where it melts into an oil to lift dirt and impurities. Wash with warm water to transform it into a milky cleanser and clean it off the skin. The brand suggests using this morning and evening, and even to repeat for a double cleanse if desired. The cleanser is a reasonably thickness and comes out white, so I find two pumps are better for me to get good coverage over my face and massage it in. It washes off nicely and doesnt leave any residue. After use, my skin feels much cleaner and more refreshed, and while its a little drying like I find most cleaning products, its not too bad at all. What I was surprised about was that my pores seemed to have reduced using this, something I noticed after the first use. Ive never had anything to really work on blocked pores, especially around my nose, so I was pretty surprised to notice this seems to work on them. For that benefit alone to blocked pores, Im thrilled with the product and want to keep using it. Its a lovely cleanser to use overall too, being convenient and pretty gentle and effective at removing impurities. Its a reasonable price for a fancier cleanser with something like squalane in it. The only downside for me was how it arrived with leakage and greasiness, which Id like to hope was a one-off because Id like to get another one of these once Ive used this bottle.”
“I received this caring squalane cream cleanser. This product is for balanced and dry skin and it is odourless. It is oily and greasy that left a layer of oil on my skin. It has less absorbency and it can be used as an oily makeup remover. When I received the bottle the lid was oily and the pump was releasing cream. I like the cream and its packaging my only issue is that it was leaking. For a simple cleanser it is expensive.”
“This is quite powerful stuff. It is very cleansing and it hasn't caused any skin irritation or dry skin. It does take a while to get absorbed but overall it does perform a little bit better than most similar products.”
