“Really like this product and found it worked well for my skin (as my skin doesn't like glycolic acid or niacinamide) so was worried about the retinol. Thankfully it seems to like it and I'm glad it helps with my blemishes too. Do think its quite pricey unfortunately so definitely a luxury purchase for me.”
“I bought this product hoping it would help a bad acne flair up that I've been experiencing for a couple months, I'm quite acne prone anyway but this was out of control. I'm 35 so I tried this product, because I'd heard how good retinol is for acne, dark spots, fine lines etc. But literally it did nothing but make my spots worse. I thought perhaps it was just purging and would calm down so I kept using it for 5 weeks but literally every other day I would have a new spot. Horrendous, especially because now I have so many new dark spots to contend with. Really disappointing to spend so much money on something for it not to work and in fact make it worse. Obviously everyone's skin is different, but I really wouldn't recommend this. I wish I'd just tried a retinol from The Ordinary - much less money and apparently pretty good. HOWEVER, I just bought the AGE bright clearing serum from dermalogica and honestly I can see an improvement in my skin in just a few days. SO much better!”
